Can Running Save Your Life?

Running for a Healthy Mind with Guest Speaker, Nita Sweeney

Can Running Save Your Life?

Nita Sweeney thinks so. Before she discovered running, Nita Sweeney was 49-years-old, chronically depressed, occasionally manic, and unable to jog for more than 60 seconds at a time. Using exercise, Nita discovered an inner strength she didn’t know she possessed, and with the help of her yellow Labrador retriever, found herself on the way to completing her first marathon. In her memoir, Depression Hates a Moving Target, Sweeney, a ChiRunning proponent, shares how she faced emotional and physical challenges to finish the race and come back from the brink.

Join us on May 5th at 2pm EST for a FREE webinar led by guest speaker, Nita Sweeney. We’ll be discussing how running can positively impact your mental health. If you cannot attend, you will be sent a replay recording of the webinar.
