Ohioana Book Festival – Opening Ceremony
The 2020 Ohioana Book Festival is just around the corner. It’s taken time, planning, and lots of adjustments to make it happen. Our thanks to everyone for their patience in hanging in there with us!
The three-day festival takes place Friday-Sunday, August 28-30. Our website provides information, updated regularly, on the Festival programs and activities. You can purchase books by your favorite festival authors online, starting next Tuesday, August 25th.
In addition to the three-day festival, we’d like to invite you to another online event: the Opening Ceremony!
Thursday, August 27th, the night before the festival officially opens, we’re having a special preview.
This ceremony will kick off the festival for authors, fans, supporters – everyone! We’ll preview the programs coming up that weekend. We’ll have a few surprises, and some giveaways, too, courtesy of our promotional partners, Johnson’s Ice Cream and Gateway Film Center.
Like all festival events, it’s free and easy to join.

There is something for every reader at the Ohioana Book Festival. Join us as often as you can August 28, 29, and 30th. Plus, the entire program will be available on YouTube after the festival wraps up.
